1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules and guidelines for using TradesPro. It is designed to protect our users, our platform, and the broader community. This AUP supplements our Terms of Service.
2. Permitted Use
TradesPro is intended for use by trade professionals and businesses for legitimate business purposes, including managing customer relationships, generating quotes, tracking jobs, sending invoices, and communicating with clients.
3. Prohibited Activities
You may not use TradesPro to:
- Send unsolicited bulk emails, spam, or promotional messages to individuals who have not opted in to receive communications from you
- Engage in fraudulent activity, including creating fake invoices, misrepresenting services, or conducting scams
- Collect, store, or process personal data of individuals without their consent or in violation of applicable privacy laws
- Upload or transmit any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service in a manner that exceeds normal usage patterns or places undue burden on our infrastructure
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without our written authorization
- Use the Service to facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing, or any other financial crime
4. Email and Communication Guidelines
When using TradesPro to send emails to your customers (quotes, invoices, follow-ups), you must:
- Only send communications to individuals with whom you have a legitimate business relationship
- Ensure the content of your communications is accurate and not misleading
- Respect recipients' requests to stop receiving communications
- Comply with all applicable anti-spam laws, including the CAN-SPAM Act and CASL
5. Data Responsibility
You are responsible for the data you enter into TradesPro. You must ensure that you have the legal right to collect, store, and process any personal information you add to the Service, including your customers' names, addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers.
6. Enforcement
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP. If we determine that a violation has occurred, we may take action including but not limited to:
- Issuing a warning
- Temporarily suspending your account
- Permanently terminating your account
- Reporting the activity to law enforcement if required
We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking action, except where immediate action is necessary to protect the Service or other users.

If you become aware of any misuse of TradesPro or violations of this AUP, please report it to us at tradespro.crm@gmail.com.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
